Both. I'm going to start taking my kayak out frequently on a local river for Northern pike. They're a blast to catch, and I'd say they range from 17" - 30" range. 30+ is a trophy in this river.
Musky - I have never brought one to hand, and hooked up with one last year while fly fishing for bass. I was not expecting that.
I have a 9 wt Redington Predator with either Rio Gold or Grand....I can never remember. It has faired well with casting my big flies. I am having a 10 wt rod in the process of being built now.
Northerns', or, Muskie? What weight rod and line?
